Zhuri Bryant to Act as Proctor for Marshall Field House and as a Prefect for 2016-2017 School Year

Every spring, a small group of students are chosen for leadership positions by their peers and faculty members for the following school year. In addition to positions in Student Council, rising seniors are given a chance to act as Prefects or Proctors.

Next year, Zhuri will serve as Proctor for Marshall Field House and as a Prefect.

Proctors are boarding seniors who serve the school by helping their fellow boarding students manage safe, successful, and happy lives in the dormitories by providing leadership and guidance. Proctors assist dorm faculty in all aspects of residential life and oversee their respective Dorm Councils. They are expected to conduct themselves with honesty and integrity to exemplify and inspire the virtues of citizenship, scholarship, and personal responsibility. Meanwhile, Prefects are students who demonstrate an authentic investment and engagement in the LFA community. They work to find ways to improve the community experience for their peers and support and lead community initiatives that advance the school's mission.

Zhuri has shown positive signs of leadership and will be an integral part of the LFA community.
