Yili Luo Receives Ainsworth Award and Louch Award

On Friday, May 19, various students received academic awards from different departments for their dedication to their studies. Yili was the recipient of the Ainsworth Award and Louch Award. The Ainsworth Award is given in honor of Sidney E. Ainsworth, a mathematics teacher to two generations of LFA students. Meanwhile, the Louch award is in honor of Sandra J. Louch, former biology teacher and department head, who during her twenty-three years at Ferry Hall and Lake Forest Academy, inspired many generations of students with her enthusiasm for the many facets of science. It is given to the senior who has achieved excellence in the science curriculum at LFA.

John Strudwick, Head of School, commends Yili and the other award winners for consistently showcasing academic interest, in accordance with one of the pillars of the Lake Forest Academy mission: Scholarship.
