William Li and Math Teammates Place 1st at Regionals

The LFA math team headed to the University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign on February 25th, 2017 for the regional tournament. The team won first place with a score of 715.

Individual awards went to Tiger Luo '17, Bella He '18, Caleb Ye '18, Yubin Pak '19, and Michael Lentskevich '20.

Caleb and Yubin also tied for first in the Freshman/Sophomore 2-person event. Yubin, Sizhe Chen '19, Rachel Nguyen '19, David Sun '19, Vlad Kolesnikov '20, Lina Wang '20, Lisa Wang '20, and Sophia Wang '20 won the Freshman/Sophomore 8 person event, while William Li '17, Michael Lin '17, Emma Chen '18, Caleb Ye '18, and Michael Lentskevich '20 won the calculator competition.

Tiger Luo and Passer Liu '17 placed second in the Junior/Senior 2-person event, while Ailey Fang '18 and Clint Shi '18 were second in Oral Presentation.
