Ting Sun and Math Teammates Place 5th in State Finals

On Saturday, May 7th, Ting Sun of Shanghai, and the members of LFA's math team competed in the Illinois State Finals at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The team scored 578 points and placed 5th out of 48 schools. The team previously competed in the ICTM Math Contest Regional Competition at Niles West High School in late February and took the overall third place spot for the Division 2A region.
