Sophia Platcow says Bon Voyage at spring concert

In late March, students in the LFA choir program visited Minnesota for four days to attend a master class with Anton Armstrong, a world renowned conductor at Olaf College. The students also attended a performance at Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis to see musical performances. Before leaving, the students put on a "Bon Voyage" concert for the LFA community on March 25th.

Sophia and other choir members performed 8 songs, some that were folk songs in different languages that were translated into English. In addition, several students performed solo and others played instruments to enhance the musical concert. Sophia gave a solo performance of "Children of the Wind" from the musical Rags.

Tim Plambeck, Director of Music, expresses his gratitude towards the students for practicing tirelessly for the concert and invites the rest of the community to attend future performing arts events at LFA.
