Nicholas Lin Receives Everett E. Grace Music Prize and Fine Arts Department Award

On Friday, May 19, various students received academic awards from different departments for their dedication to their studies. Nicholas was the recipient of the Everett E. Grace Music Prize and Fine Arts Department Award. The Everett E. Grace Music Prize was established to honor Mr. Grace’s lifetime of sharing music with young people. The award is presented to the senior whose  involvement in the Academy’s music program has been deemed by the department to have been most inspirational in encouraging the participation of others in music study and performance. Nick has been an invaluable member of the LFA community, contributing to countless concerts as a member of Choir, Vox, Co-ax, and the Caxstreet Boys. Meanwhile, the Fine Arts Department award is presented to the student who has displayed excellence in two or more fields in the fine arts.

John Strudwick, Head of School, commends Nicholas and the other award winners for consistently showcasing academic interest, in accordance with one of the pillars of the Lake Forest Academy mission: Scholarship.
