Liana Shallenberg Recognized at All-School Awards Ceremony

On May 22nd, the LFA community gathered in The Cressey Center for the Arts for the All-School Awards Ceremony. Head of School John Strudwick gave introductory remarks, congratulating the students on finishing another successful year of rigorous academic courses. After a piano performance of the LFA Alma Mater by Boom Dej-Udom '15, each academic department presented awards to individual students.

Liana was the recipient of the Taylor Award for 2D Art. The Taylor Award is presented to the senior who has achieved excellence in studio arts. Liana has used her gift to express beauty and create joy.

Chris Tennyson, Dean of Students, ended the assembly with another congratulations to the awardees and a final word to the seniors. "Your academic growth and achievements have been tremendous...You have embodied everything that LFA has wanted you to be and for that we thank you."
