Katherine Zhou participates in LFA Cheerleading

Starting in August, students gather for early practice in preparation for fall sports. This year, the Caxys joined 16 different fall athletic teams and participated in countless games, practices, and tournaments.

Katherine was part of the cheerleading team. Katie was one of the co-captains of the team and led the other girls in practice. The captains were also responsible for calling cheers at games.

The cheerleaders stood on the sidelines for every football game played at home and traveled with the football team for two away games. Assistant Coach Abby Croft says the season ended on a high note and thanks each member of the team for their dedication to the team.
