Jack Shaughnessy participates in the 2014 Service Learning Day

Jack Shaughnessy participated in Service Learning Day, which took place on Thursday, April 24th. Service Learning Day is an annual event where students attend service trips to forest preserves, retirement centers, and various other locations to give back to the larger community. The LFA football team went on a separate service trip to the City of Des Plaines Public Works Department. JP and his teammates helped with sandbagging for flood protection. Sarah Collins, the Director of Service Learning at LFA, called the event a huge success thanks to the hard work of the students and faculty.
