Erin Snoddy recognized at Move-Up Day

2014 Jun 4

Move-Up Day took place on May 30th in the Formal Gardens at Lake Forest Academy. Students, parents, and faculty all attended the ceremony, which commemorates a successful end to another school year. Students celebrate "moving up" from seniors to alumni, juniors to seniors, sophomores to juniors, and freshmen to sophomores.

Several awards were given out during the ceremony to recognize students who have shown great dedication to keeping the ideals of Lake Forest Academy: character, scholarship, responsibility, and citizenship.

Erin received the Jonathan Fremd Award, which is awarded to the freshman who has best exemplified the spirit and ideals of Lake Forest Academy. _x000D__x000D_Erin will return to LFA as a sophomore in the fall.

Valerie Sorenson, Erin's foreign language instructor, comments that Erin has a great character and works diligently no matter the task. "She exemplifies the spirit of LFA through her cheerful disposition and active involvement in all aspects of LFA student life, including the musical, VOX, field hockey, soccer and student council. Erin supports other learners in collaborative tasks in class with a friendly attitude."
