Elizabeth Annibali participates in the 2014 Service Learning Day

Elizabeth Annibali participated in Service Learning Day, which took place on Thursday, April 24th. Service Learning Day is an annual event where students attend service trips to forest preserves, retirement centers, and various other locations to give back to the larger community. Ellie went to the Gorton Community Center to wash windows, organize closet inventory, and help with spring cleaning. The Center is home to many service organizations and a day care center. Sarah Collins, the Director of Service Learning at LFA, called the event a huge success thanks to the hard work of the students and faculty.
