Dieter Villegas Elected All-School President

On Wednesday, April 12th, three juniors running for All-School President gave speeches during an All-School Meeting in The Cressey Center of the Arts. Voting took place right after the meeting ended. While each candidate had pockets of support, Dieter was ultimately elected as the All School President for the 2017-2018 school year.

As a member of Student Council, Dieter has managed countless school-wide events, including the upcoming prom celebration on May 20th. In addition, Dieter is an active member of the LFA Athletics and Service Learning programs.

During his speech, Dieter spoke to his experience of trying new things, and promised to be a connection for students to voice their opinions. He hopes to submit improvements to enhance the student experience at LFA.

On his election, Dieter says, "I'm thankful for the opportunity to represent LFA's student body. I'm really excited to bring my classmates' and my ideas to life. I look forward to challenging my peers to step outside of their comfort zones. This will bring new opportunities for both individuals and for LFA as a whole."
