Aleeya Sawyer of Lincolnshire Signs Letter of Intent to Howard University for Soccer

Aleeya Sawyer is one of four LFA students from the Class of 2017 who signed letters to intent to prominent colleges on Tuesday, April 12th in the Crown Fitness & Wellness Center.

Thomas Pinel will play lacrosse at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Hande Zeynep "Z" Kivanc will swim at Wagner College, Chris Harris will play basketball at Missouri University of Science & Technology, and Aleeya Sawyer will play soccer at Howard University.

The four seniors join their peers Margeaux Adam, Alex Gamache, and Kenan Clarke who also signed to play sports in college earlier this academic year. Margeaux will play lacrosse at University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, Alex will play baseball at Georgetown University, and Kenan will play football at Cornell University.

All seven seniors played integral roles on different teams throughout their time at LFA. The LFA Athletics program emphasizes success not only in victories, but also in individual athletic developments. Darrin Madeley, Director of Athletics and Director of Hockey, wishes the Class of 2017 the best in their future endeavors at the university level.
